The holiday rush is through, but I’m still feeling harried and stressed out. (And that’s even after a vacation!) I need to remember to take a deep breath and quiet down.

I took this photo of a desolate looking salt plain on our summer road trip at Antelope Island State Park at The Great Salt Lake in Utah. The Thoreau quote was posted on a sign at Yovimba Point on the Bristlecone Loop Trail at Bryce Canyon National Park, another stop on our trip.
