Also, I just learned that my laptop battery is kaput—well, no, I knew that—what I didn’t know is what Apple just told me today: it’ll take anywhere from three to 10 days to get my laptop back once I drop it off with the “geniuses.” WTF?! Why isn’t there some little Apple peon back there doing nothing but replacing batteries? That is a LONG time to wait just to pop in a new battery. Anyway, long story short, the post may take a while…)
